My name is Andy, and I like you.
Who I Am
I'm an Aerospace Engineering student at Illinois Tech and have degrees in Cinema & Photography, History, and Theatre. I could probably help you with your math homework while chatting up The Third Man, hating on Ibsen, and cheering on the end of the British empire.
I have a novella and short stories published, I've written as a ghost writer, for a wedding blog, have won awards for some screenplays, and even have a historical essay published.
I take photos of completed jobs for work portfolios, event photos for charities and businesses, wedding photos for - you guessed it - brides and grooms, and travel photos for my own personal albums.
I enjoy putting pictures to my stories, others' stories, and random conversations and happenings. I grew up on manga, so that was my style for quite some time. I've been branching out, finding where my own lines go.
When you work for smaller companies, you make up the entire marketing department. You research, coordinate, design, create, promote, and analyze. For each. And every. Campaign.
I don't really do this anymore but here's my portfolio if you get bored.
Founder and Outreach Coordinator for the Chicago branch of The Planetary Society, founder for Chicago's Society of Women in Space Exploration, and avid volunteer at the Adler Planetarium, I promote space exploration and excite passion for sciences in people of all ages.
